Changes to the blog

Hi all. As you can probably see, I’m making a few changes to the blog to make it a little more user friendly. I’ve hit a snag with the email subscription form so, for the meantime, if you are interested in subscribing to my email list for future book releases, please use the link on the left side of this page.

Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience. Normal service will be resumed as soon as I figure out what the hell I am doing.

This is Wolf (A.K.A. The Dude). He’s the inspiration for Emily’s companion Thor in Extinction Point.

This is him 15 minutes and a Ferminator later …

And that was just one side of him!

Black Flagged Redux

Does the name Steven Konkoly ring a bell with you? Sound kind of familiar maybe? If you’ve read Extinction Point you may remember Emily’s editor was named Sven Konkoly, a nod to my friend and fellow author Steve. He’s just released his third book, Black Flagged Redux, a follow up to his hit thriller Black Flagged. This weekend he’s matching every sale with a $2 donation of his own. Proceeds will go to the Wounded Warrior Project. So, if you’re looking for a good thriller and you’d like to help out our nation’s veterans why not pick up a copy.

I’ve been negotiating with a publishing company based in Austria for the past week or so, and I’m rather happy to announce that I just received the final signed  contract giving them exclusive publication rights within Germany and Austria. The publishing company will be doing a full German language translation of Extinction Point, as well as publishing and promoting  an electronic version throughout Germany and Austria in the next three to six months.

Don’t forget to leave a review.

One of the best ways to help promote a book you like is to leave a review with Amazon. Sharing your thoughts (both good and bad) with other potential readers helps not only the person considering the book but also helps the author judge its popularity and whether there is a market for their book series (that’s a heavy hint :) ) So, if you enjoyed Extinction Point, or even if you hated it, I would love to hear from you.

My thanks to everyone who downloaded Extinction Point and especially to those who contacted me directly to tell me how much they enjoyed it. I’m already working on the sequel so you only have a few more months to wait.
