It’s finally here (well, almost). Extinction Point: Revelations, the third installment of Emily and Thor’s adventure, will be released tomorrow (4/8/14) for the Kindle, in paperback, and audio-book format. Back in 2011, when I first started writing the series, I knew exactly how I wanted Emily’s story to end, but now that I find myself at that destination, it turns out there is still more story to tell. So, I’m officially announcing there will be at least one more book in the EP series, tentatively titled Extinction Point: Genesis. I’m currently working on finishing up my current novel (The Ghosts of Other Worlds), but as soon as that’s in the bag, I’ll begin working on Emily and Thor’s next big adventure. Make sure you stay tuned for more updates.

I want to say a huge thank you to every one of you for your feedback, emails, and comments on Emily’s journey. You guys truly overwhelm me with your enthusiasm and love for Emily and company. I’d love to hear what you think of this latest book, so make sure you drop me an email or leave a comment here (and if you have a chance, a review on Amazon would be greatly appreciated).

Enjoy!

I have been enjoying your series since the beginning and love how the story has evolved. Excited about it continuing. The imaginative story is a roller coaster ride that pulls the reader into the thick of it right along with Emily. Thanks for the great escape!

      Thanks again.

Just finished book 3 (secretly while at work b/c I couldn’t put it down!) and really enjoyed it. Your ending definitely leaves things open to many more books, which I hope you will write. Thank you for a very enjoyable story!

    • Paul Jones says:

Glad you didn’t get caught (and that you enjoyed the book). Now, get back to work … ;)

  7. Andy says:

Oh and someone needs to pick up the movie rights….because I would pay serious money to watch this on film !

You’ve just made my day. Not only is the new book out but it’s going to continue. This story has got so far to run. Please don’t stop.

Just finished all three books in a marathon read session. I just loved your stories. Emily and Thor, Mac and the rest of the characters are exactly what a reader looks for in a great book. Characters who we feel like we could be friends or family, and at the end we are sorry to say goodbye. So glad we are not quite at the end of the journey. Can’t wait for the next chapter…..

    • Paul Jones says:

That’s awesome, Patrice. Its funny, when I think about Emily and Thor now, they seem like real people to me, like family. Strange how imaginary characters can become so real to us. Anyway, glad you enjoyed the books, and, yes, at least one more book in the series.

Paul I typically read books when I go to bed at night, usually one chapter a night to make them last lol. However I could not put this one down and finished it in three nights. I’m thrilled to hear of book four. I will for sure be waiting for its release. Great, great story!

    • Paul Jones says:

Thank you, John. Revelations seems to be splitting opinion between loving it and hating it, according to the reviews I’m seeing on Amazon. Glad you enjoyed it.

  12. Alfred Philbrick says:

I have read all three of this series and am waiting for the new one (Genesis) I hope there will be more if possible. I really got tied up in the whole series. Who knows maybe someday it will happen as we sure aren’t taking care of our world.

    • Paul Jones says:

Thanks, Alfred. I’m just going to see where Emily takes me, what story she has to tell. I know there’s at least one more book in the series. Thanks for reading.

I just finished Revelations and I think I will read all three books again. I Read them so fast. Thank you for the stories about Emily Baxter and the last few survivors of the human race.
    I look forward to more.

Just finished Revelations, love love loved it!! Kind of sad I finished so quickly but I couldn’t put it down. I came to your site to beg for more. So happy you’re going continue Emily’s story!

I’m addicted to this storyline. I’ve read Extinction Point three times, Exodus twice, and just finished Revelations (I had JUST finished re-reading EP and Exodus and went searching for the newest installment and FOUND it… I think I scared the neighbors with my celebratory squeal). I’m SURE I’ll be reading them all again and especially knowing there will be at least one more book. And a movie? Yay! I do have a few things to mention which would probably be better suited to Amazon (don’t worry, it’s mostly good!) when I get a chance. Anyway, I still feel EP is my favorite just because I love the surreal feeling I get reading about Emily’s lonely adventures in NYC. Just wanted you to know how much I love your books!

  17. Rachel says:

Just finished reading revelations and loved it! And am so glad you are going to do another one! When I read the first book of the trilogy I couldn’t stop telling people about the red rain and these alien creatures popping up everywhere! I did not see the ending of this book coming at all, but am so glad Emily is happy after everything! I liked the first two books a little more due to the action scenes (Emily trying to escape her apartment/her first meeting with Thor) and Emily’s isolation. I could feel how Emily was feeling! I wish there had been more action and maybe more dealings with the new aliens/creatures! Anyway… I’m just so happy I stumbled across your book, and would like to thank you for writing them!!
